How to remove AV Security Suite rogue anti-spyware
Malware Description:
AV Security Suite represents a family of rogue anti-spyware applications that has been dominating in the world of scareware for over a year as of now. It is a close resemblance of Antispyware Soft program whose rotation has been more than an alarming event for thousands of PC users all over the globe. AV Security Suite possesses an almost identical Graphical User Interface design and maintains basically the same malvertising patterns. According to the wicked plan of cyber criminals, AV Security Suite is designed to be capable of intruding on computers without being detected by most users. It simply bypasses the authentication using trojan horses – a type of malicious software that builds the disgraceful distribution campaign of pretty much any rogueware. On infiltrating your computer without your awareness and consent, AV Security Suite will quickly adjust the system status to its further activity. This means, AV Security Suite will make its way to the Registry and add some keys of its own. Also, the junk software will create files on your system in order to enhance its malignant impact on your workstation. All of that refers to the internal manipulations of AV Security Suite which you might not notice with an unaided eye. The ‘fun part’ will commence with the extremely annoying popup alerts generated by AV Security Suite as it perseveres on your machine. These pseudo warning notifications do not inform you of anything actual. Their objective is to mislead you and get you believing your PC is at risk. They report the interception of tons of nefarious infections, although there are none in fact. The pop-ups from AV Security Suite are probably not the worst part about its activity though. It will be sure to keep annoying you with its falsified system scanners that also tell you that something is seriously amiss with your PC and you have to do something about it. In case you happen to fall for any of these scanners or ads, AV Security Suite will reroute your browser to its hijacker-domains that persistently recommend you buy its full version to get the above-mentioned issues resolved quickly and reliably. Do not trust any site entitled ‘AV Security Suite – powerful PC protection’ because they all try to scam you out of your money. Therefore, you definitely need to get rid of AV Security Suite for good in order to avoid all the multiple negative consequences of its activity on your system. When trying to uninstall this scam tool though, you will realize it is not so easy. This rogue antivirus program will cut any such attempt short. Here is a good fix that proved to work. As soon as your computer starts, you have about ten seconds before AV Security Suite loads up. You can use this time split in the following way: quickly go to ‘Start’, choose ‘Run’ and type in ‘msconfig’. After this, you should see a new window pop up. It’s the system configuration GUI; you must hit ‘Startup’ tab there and untick the process ending in ‘tssd’ in there. Then, you should quickly save all the changes you have made and restart your computer. Now, AV Security Suite executable should not get triggered upon startup but the rogue program is still there. In order to completely remove AV Security Suite and all of its components from your system, you should then follow the guide provided below, step by step. If you do everything in accordance with our tips, AV Security Suite should be gone within minutes and no longer disturb you with its awful ads.

I have AV Security Suite on my netbook. I tried the fix you described, but couldn’t find anything ending in tssd.
Any suggestions? Thanks for your help in removing this scourge.
JPS,
Apparently, the malware can mutate so the process names may vary.
You can try to check the Msconfig GUI for processes with an unknown publisher – that’s usually the bad one to be unticked.
Thanks
I had the same problem JPS but what I did was just unclicked everything that was unknown. That took it away. I have Vista and I was able to do everything. Hope that helps.
